The special material for semiconductors generally has the resistance between the resistance of a conductor and a non-conductor. Changes in temperature or added dashes also influence the resistance.
The word “impurities” means the other components mixed to the material. Semiconductors are labeled as power semiconductor devices of type-n or type-t due to the components of complete material.
